Our Application Process
Once your completed application and subsequent information has been received, the Co-op will review it to ensure that it is complete and then conduct a credit and landlord check. All income verification documents will be reviewed carefully. Following this, you will be contacted to set a date and time for an interview.
You will be interviewed by a minimum of two members of the Co-op’s Membership Selection Committee. The purpose of this interview is to get an impression of you as a potential member and for you to understand Co-op living.
The interviewers will interview all members of your household who are over 16 years old. The interviewers will consider your willingness to participate and your potential as a good neighbour. Once the initial interview has finished, the application will be reviewed by the entire Membership Selection Committee.
Your application will be passed along the Board of Directors for final approval. After the final decision is made you will be notified in writing.
